BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – IU Auditorium will host another Facebook Live event with members of the international a cappella sensation and Bloomington favorite Straight No Chaser on Thursday, May 28 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT. The event will go live on IU Auditorium’s Facebook page which can be found at Facebook.com/iuauditorium or by searching for “IU Auditorium” on the Facebook app on any device.

On Thursday, group members Randy Stine, Steve Morgan, Tyler Trepp, and Seggie Isho will join the Facebook Live event to talk about their formation, their careers, and life on the road, and will take questions from viewers throughout the evening.

Since Straight No Chaser’s formation at Indiana University in 1996, the performers have emerged as an international phenomenon. The group has released seven albums, four EPs, and gained a massive fan base with sold-out crowds across the nation. In their 24 years together, they have perfected their sound into what The New York Times calls their “vibrantly warm-blooded” style.

Their latest album One Shot was recorded mostly in Bloomington. The record features 16 genre-spanning songs, and 10 entertaining conversational interludes, as the group trace their unlikely rise from an undergraduate singing group at IU to a beloved Atlantic Records act with a devoted international fanbase. Along the way, SNC has sold over 1.6 million albums in the U.S. and amassed more than 100 million YouTube views thanks to their tightly arranged songs, impeccable vocal harmonies, and a healthy sense of humor.

Over the last decade, Straight No Chaser has collaborated with Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, and Dolly Parton, to name a few. They’ve performed on national TV with appearances on The Today Show and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Their tours have spanned across North America, Europe, and Australia, and consistently rank among Pollstar’s top 100 touring acts in North America.
