IU Auditorium Presents Disney’s Moana Live-to-Film Concert on Friday, October 24
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University Auditorium is proud to host Disney’s Moana Live‑to‑Film Concert on Friday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. This unique concert event brings the magic of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit film to life through an immersive combination of live performance and cinema.
A full screening of Moana will be accompanied by a live orchestra, featuring top Hollywood studio musicians including Polynesian rhythm masters and vocalists performing the film’s soundtrack (co-written by Lin-Manuel Miranda) in synchrony with the on-screen action.

This tour, produced by Disney Concerts and AMP Worldwide, offers a fresh way for fans to engage with a classic beloved by both children and adults. The live components elevate the cinematic experience, creating a multisensory event that celebrates the film’s music, story, and cultural inspirations.
Education and Engagement Opportunities
Pre-Show Hula Class and Lei Creation
October 24: 6:30–7:15 p.m., Fine Arts 015
Arrive early before the performance for a special pre-show celebration! Hawaii native Amber Racoma will share a traditional hula demonstration and invite attendees to learn a few moves. Plus, members of the IU Pacific Islander Student Association will be on hand to guide guests in creating their own colorful leis, perfect for getting into the spirit of the islands before the film begins.
