Announcing An Afternoon with Professor of Piano Norman Krieger

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – IU Auditorium announces An Afternoon with Professor of Piano Norman Krieger on Sunday, March 21 at 2 p.m. ET as he performs live from the IU Auditorium stage. The virtual recital and Q&A can be watched live online at IUauditorium.com and the performance will be archived at IUauditorium.com/Livestreams to view after the live event.

Norman Krieger is a Professor of Piano at the IU Jacobs School of Music and is a graduate of The Juilliard School and New England Conservatory. He has collaborated with a number of renowned conductors and orchestras including New York and Los Angeles philharmonics as well as the Minnesota Orchestra, Boston Pops Orchestra, National Symphony, and many more. He has released five solo albums and continues to perform and lead masterclasses around the globe.

 

The live performance will feature works of Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin. Krieger will be performing on the Auditorium’s newly-acquired Steinway D Concert Grand Piano and the afternoon will conclude with a moderated Q&A led by IU Auditorium Executive Director Doug Booher live on stage.
