Event Description
Indiana University’s African American Arts Institute proudly presents the 27th annual Potpourri of the Arts in the African American Tradition at IU Auditorium.
From African dance traditions to gospel and R&B, Potpourri of the Arts is a celebration of Black music, dance, and culture. Three unique student ensembles—the African American Dance Company, the African American Choral Ensemble, and the IU Soul Revue—are sure to exhilarate audiences with a wide range of music and choreography in their individual and combined performances.
This year’s Potpourri of the Arts will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of IU Soul Revue—America’s first and finest collegiate Black popular music ensemble since 1971.
