One more feature on the Singing Hoosiers before we see them live this Saturday at Chimes of Christmas! Sophia Clan is a freshman and a vocal performance major. She loves to be in the Singing Hoosiers for the community she has built and the friends she has made. "Everyone is so supportive, it is like a family which is hard to find at such a big school," she says. Sophia also thinks the audience will love the song "Go Where I see Thee" because it is not a traditional Christmas song and it has some funk and jazz to it!

Two more Singing Hoosiers of the week until we see them in person! Say hi to Madison Bruce, a senior here at IU studying speech and hearing sciences. She loves the Singing Hoosiers and her favorite part, other than being director of recruitment, is having a creative outlook with beautiful people on campus. Her favorite number for this year's chimes is White Christmas because it's the end of the show and it reflects on Christmas past love and tradition. There is also a surprise at the end!! Happy Monday! Are we ready for another Singing Hoosier of the week? Meet Owen Klee! Owen is a senior majoring in cinema and media arts. He is a part of Resolution and Shacapella within Singing Hoosiers! Owen's favorite part about being a part of this community is hitting a point in practice where they collectively feel connected musically with each other and the director. "There is a level of professionalism and happiness that we hit together," he says. His favorite number for the upcoming Chimes of Christmas performance is "Don't Save It All For Christmas Day" because it brings him nostalgia. Watch out for Owen December 2 at the Auditorium!

Welcome to our Singing Hoosier of the Week spotlighting one Hoosier for the next 4 weeks leading up to Chimes of Christmas! This week, meet Jack Lopez. Jack is currently a Junior here at IU studying Finance and International business. Within Singing Hoosiers, he is a varsity dancer where he loves to be surrounded by diverse majors to enjoy life outside everyday classes. His favorite part about being a Singing Hoosier is the community around the love for music. Jack's favorite number for the upcoming Chimes of Christmas show is Christmas Morning Feeling because there is so much excitement around the children. Don't miss Jack at Chimes on December 2nd!
