Internships at IU Auditorium range from educational development, to event planning, to marketing. Students have assisted in many aspects of the Auditorium, such as coodinating weddings, brainstorming and implementing promotional activities for the season shows, as well as organizing educational opportunities between the students and cast members. IU Auditorium interns are involved in many facets of the day-to-day operations, and gain hands-on experience in the world of presenting the performing arts.

Customer Relations

  • Student Internship
  • Hours per week: 10-15
  • Starting hourly wage: unpaid
  • Basic duties: Respond to customer comments and questions via email, organize and maintain archives, customer information handling
  • Requirements: Computer literacy (specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel), basic knowledge of the Auditorium, interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills
  • Students will gain experience in the following areas: Customer Relations, Event Promotions and Marketing, CRIS database system
