Box Office Hours

Monday – Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
And three hours prior to the start of any ticketed event at IU Auditorium.
The Box Office is closed on weekends, national holidays, the week of IU spring break and during the IU winter break

Parking

During hours the Box Office is open, patrons are permitted to park on the front curb of the Auditorium for up to 15 minutes in order to purchase tickets. When passing the parking attendant in front of the Indiana Memorial Union on 7th St., simply let him or her know that you are purchasing tickets and you should be waved through.

Payment Methods Accepted

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Bursar (IUB students only), check, and cash.

Phone Orders

Individual tickets may be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Phone orders are processed by Ticketmaster and their service charges will be added to the transaction.

Ticket Exchanges

Tickets to IU Auditorium Season events may be exchanged during box office hours, up to 48 hours prior to the first event. Exchanges are subject to a $5 per ticket exchange fee.

No exchanges may occur within 48 hours of any event and exchanges must be performed in person at the Auditorium Box Office. For additional information, call (812) 855-1103.

Will Call

Will Call tickets can be picked up at the Box Office starting 24 hours after purchasing. Customers must present the physical credit card used for the order, a picture ID, and their order confirmation number.

Student Discount Policy

IU Bloomington students with active status and valid IUB student ID are able to access student-priced tickets to IU Auditorium season events. A student ID is not required to purchase student tickets, but a valid IUB Student ID must be presented to gain event entry.

Any student ticket holder who fails to present an ID will be required to upgrade their ticket to the adult price by paying the difference at the box office.

 

Event On-Sales and Lotteries

For event on-sales, IU Auditorium may hold a lottery for positions in the sales line. 

IU Auditorium staff will distribute lottery tickets approximately one hour before the event is scheduled to go on sale to determine customer's places in line, and the lottery will close 30 minutes in advance of the on-sale time. There is no need to arrive at IU Auditorium earlier than one hour before the scheduled on-sale time. 

Those arriving less than 30 minutes before the on-sale time will line up in the order in which they arrive.

Third Party Ticket Sellers

IU Auditorium cannot guarantee the validity of tickets purchased unless they are purchased through our box office, IUauditorium.com, or Ticketmaster.

IU Auditorium prides itself on offering a diverse selection of arts and entertainment. Not all productions may appeal to or be appropriate for every person or for all ages, and therefore, patrons are encouraged to familiarize themselves with shows in order to make informed decisions prior to purchasing tickets.

Infants & Small Children

Everyone must have a ticket including infants carried in arms. Please note that most events at IU Auditorium are not appropriate for children younger than 6.

Other Events Sold at the Box Office

In addition to events held at IU Auditorium, our Box Office also sells tickets to events presented by the Department of Theatre and Drama and IU Cinema. 

Cameras & Recorders

Photgraphy and the use of recording devices is not permitted at events at IU Auditorium. 

Accessible Seating Arrangements

Wheelchair accessible seating is ample and usually available in all price levels. For any special seating arrangements (accessible seating, aisle transfer seats, etc.) please call the Box Office at (812) 855-1103.
