Payroll Information
How would you like to GET PAID for helping out your favorite organization, the IU Auditorium? You can do this by becoming a student manager, box office clerk, or by helping us out with IU Bloomington Commencement activities in the spring and autumn terms.
If you are interested in becoming a student manager, we send out applications each semester to our volunteers. You have to have volunteered at the Auditorium at least a full semester before applying to be a manager. If you are interested in just working a Commencement ceremony, all you have to do is go to your usher page, sign up for the event, and fill out the necessary paperwork to get you on payroll. We will also work with the residence halls and arrange for check-out time at your respective dorms to be extended on the day of Commencement. This will ensure that you have plenty of time to help us out, get back to your dorms, and head home for the break.
For information on how to work in the Box Office, visit the Box Office Clerk page.
“I applied three times to become a student manager, and on the third time I was finally accepted into the manager corps. I worked my way from an usher, to manager, then leader of the seating team, and now I am an assistant house manager. The opportunities and experiences I have gained thus far at the Auditorium have given me the necessary skills to become successful in the real world.”
